Battle with your battle cat you battle axe

Not sure how your Tuesday is working out, but mine is starting off right and feeling good in a Nina Simone/My Brightest Diamond kind of way.

This evening, Betsy Turcot and I will be attending the launch of the Anywhere Theatre Festival, Brisbane’s own incredible anywherebutatheatre festival, which is taking place this May between 7-18th May.

The festival is multi-venue, multi-arts, multivariate, multiparous and multitudinous and Betsy and I, with our Belles of Hell hats on, are performing again as a part of the festival.  It’s excitement with a whole new hat on. A nice bowler hat.

This is the shtick:

Betsy Turcot and Eleanor Jackson, The Belles of Hell, return to the Anywhere Theatre Festival to continue asking the hard questions about life, love, identity, sexuality and how to get the proverbial two bits. This time around, these denizens of the dictionary are asking just what it takes to be the man. Playful and irreverent, but with a slice of cutthroat razor serious, Betsy and Eleanor are knocking on The Man’s door for three nights only.

8, 9 and 10th May at 8pm at HQ Male Grooming.

Find us before we find you.
