Eleanor Jackson is a Filipino Australian poet,
performer, arts producer, cyclist, writer, gal
about town, feminist, freewheeler, and

ideas curator. Which basically
means, she will tell you
exactly what she thinks.
Until then, you’ll have
to read between
the lines.
Get obsessed, stay obsessed
Ostensibly this post is about my new kit. Which – as you may remember – I was obsessed about. I will post more about the actual kit soon. But for now let’s just acknowledge that the fact that I even have one is testimony to the fact that I have been loved. It’s more than I can imagine possible sometimes, just how much care the world has shown me.
What this post is really about right now is the act of staying obsessed. I’m not a serious race rider, so my obsession is pitched at a more reasonable level but I have been flagging lately. Time to recalibrate. Put on your swanky outfit and go for a ride. Find a headwind a your own and push for no other reason than it’s good for you. I have no race to run and still I love the push.
If this is all I can do to demonstrate my gratitude – then that is all I can do.
