Eleanor Jackson is a Filipino Australian poet,
performer, arts producer, cyclist, writer, gal
about town, feminist, freewheeler, and
friend. One day, she is going to be an
ideas curator. Which basically
means, she will tell you
exactly what she thinks.
Until then, you’ll have
to read between
the lines.
Fair weather
Courtesy of the gorgeous crew at Cycleaway, I went cycling away.
Like, hello bike, what brings a nice girl like you to a place like this?
Is it the ferry rides? The pretty water? The promise of dolphins?
The smell of honey scented air over heated bitumen?
The gorgeous back-packers? Their oblivious to cancer attitude?
The quaint, country graveyard along the way?
The sweet treats at the end of a downhill run?
The sunset and the splendour? The ending of a beautiful day? That you could have been anywhere else, but this is where you were?
Or was it just the god damn matching?
