in position

So, Murray, this is what the bike looks like, well, a very short/small section of that bike which is being positioned.

The poor thing has only had a few rides out on the road which is an utter tragedy but I am sure that if you are in Brisbane you are aware that the weather is crap. Or has been crap or how come it’s shining at the moment and I’m sitting in my lounge looking at three bikes and not riding one of them?

Sorry. I digress, I have to go for a ride.

In the mean time, please see attached photo for a very brief glimpse of what it is like to have a bike positioning. Sure, it costs more money than many a casual rider would fork out but I have to say all the physio/osteo/knee-anxiety was quite expensive too and really I should have considered getting a bit that fit me from the freaking start. The positioning was not at all as intimidating as I thought it would be and I basically approve of anything that requires a spirit level* and although my knee is still tight as buggery, it’s not hurting on the bike per se (as was the case with Jana) and I’m genuinely excited about the future of riding. If only I could find some new amount of time in the day to do all this stretching.

Oh wait, I have a photo here somewhere!

Now, I’m not sure what all this dribble is after the audio player, but you should listen to this tUnE-yArDs song. It’s most fun.

  1. Lovely. I’m tempted to get my bike painted as it’s such a boring colour, Of course, I’m hoping to upgrade soon, so maybe that’ll have to wait a while.

    1. Okay, if you want a recommendation, do try Gamblers if you’re in Brisbane! He was super lovely to deal with, although somehow recently I dinted the paint. When I say somehow, I mean I let a bit heavy gate fall on it. Ugh. Oh well, better to be ridden than just sitting in the garage!
