all Minotaur no thread

it’s just a city
stop with your muffled politics
count the alienation in your relentless
turning away from designated smoking areas
three hour parking zones
a world of “costumed dogs”
the agenda the discussion the action items
all predetermined, as if we had built Calvino’s zodiac point monstrosity
to channel the gods’ will of three headed children
all the streets paved with forgotten lent
we have everything we could want

disguised perfectly as the cow
we are bedding the bull –
birthing our very perfect punishment.
