It’s very late indeed, especially for those of us who are still in their offices, taking advantage of the voice operated software and all of the glories that that entails in terms of bad spelling, crazy syntax and inadvertently funny puns.
There’s a certain excitement and spirit in the random insanity which comes from handing yourself over to a computer.
Arguably, there is an even greater excitement in handing yourself over to the energy and opportunity that comes from a great grassroots community organised arts Festival. This week, I think that you should select the Brisbane Fringe Festival as your great grassroots community organised arts excitement and random insanity.
In fact, tomorrow (Saturday 6 July) I think that you should tune into 4zzz – 102.1fm (www.4zzzfm.org.au) for At the Local with myself and Domenico Natoli, as we will be chatting with Stu Barry from the Brisbane Fringe Festival about ways that you, your friends, in embassies, the thorns in your asides, the love of your lives, and your favourite artistic creators can be a part of the excitement!
For the BFF wants to be BFF and all its needs to do that is for you to register your incredible independent arts project to be a part of the Festival.
