Eleanor Jackson is a Filipino Australian poet,
performer, arts producer, cyclist, writer, gal
about town, feminist, freewheeler, and
friend. One day, she is going to be an
ideas curator. Which basically
means, she will tell you
exactly what she thinks.
Until then, you’ll have
to read between
the lines.
all welcome, none obliged
See this straining beast? He’s the very dear Scott Sneddon, aka Darkwing Dubs.
I just bought myself a ticket to his show maXimal, details just being a little bit below here:
Tickets: $15/$10
Dates: Fri 10 & Sat 11 @ 9:00pm
Place: Lawn, Level 3, The Edge, State Library of Queensland
But I mention him here because, the young fella – just like the beautiful Trudie Murrell (whose book launched beautifully this week at Riverbend), will be sharing some love at one of our shows for Anywhere Festival. So if you can’t be with us, you can be with him, and if you can’t be with him, you can be with us. And we’ll think you’re doing a damn good job either way.
The world is a messy place that only makes sense about 20% of the time. Maybe less. But some people are just family.
