Eleanor Jackson is a Filipino Australian poet,
performer, arts producer, cyclist, writer, gal
about town, feminist, freewheeler, and
friend. One day, she is going to beĀ an
ideas curator. Which basically
means, she will tell you
exactly what she thinks.
Until then, you’ll have

the lines.
Brisbane New Voices IV: Women and Cars by Trudie Murrell
Because I have discovered you can reblog a reblog (although if a blog falls in the wood and no one reads it, well, that’s the best outcome for us all somedays)… here tis!
The lovely Brisbane New Voices IV is happening Tuesday 23 April, and Trudie Murrell will be reading from her new book “Women and Cars”. Trudie was featured in the Women’s showcase for Words or Whatever last November and really is “extended poetry family” to Betsy and I. We’re looking forward to her opening one of our shows for Chosen Family. But if you can’t wait that long, go to the launch tomorrow!
