Eleanor Jackson is a Filipino Australian poet,
performer, arts producer, cyclist, writer, gal
about town, feminist, freewheeler, and
friend. One day, she is going to be an
ideas curator. Which basically
means, she will tell you
exactly what she thinks.
Until then, you’ll have
to read between
the lines.
bee the change?
And have a little fun with the casts of the pod.
The 4ZZZ podcasts for At the Local that is. Click the links, listen to some songs, feel your local community radio and so on and so forth.
Thanks must go to our guests last week: Asger Strodl from the Anarchist Summer School which is on this weekend (12-13 January) in Ashgrove and Sarah Gory, Director of the Queensland Poetry Festival, which currently has expressions of interest open for poets and performers to participate in the festival in August this year. If Domenico and I keep beeing as good as we can bee, then maybe we’ll also attend some of the school and make a little review of it for the 4ZZZ cultural conversation.
And, speaking of bees and bee keepers… seems that Sylvia Plath has herself a new biography in the wings; seems there is yet meat on the bones.
Maybe next week, I will have a bee hive, and if I don’t have an ACTUAL bee hive, I’m certainly going to have had a conversation with the team at Bee One Third about their bee hives, and to be frank, sometimes talking about things is as good as the real thing. Isn’t it?
Tune in tomorrow on 102.1fm for At the Local loving!
