Eleanor Jackson is a Filipino Australian poet,
performer, arts producer, cyclist, writer, gal
about town, feminist, freewheeler, and
friend. One day, she is going to beĀ an
ideas curator. Which basically
means, she will tell you
exactly what she thinks.
Until then, you’ll have
to read between
the lines.

And don’t forget to check out Tony’s blog over at http://darkarsean.wordpress.com/.
Tony’s support to women in poetry in our local group of peeps – for my mind at least – as always been in the quiet achiever camp: Tony Listens. For those of us not so gifted in the art of bombast, listening is just like gold. A quiet word after a gig that shows that someone, even just one someone, has been listening hard enough to catch that turn of phrase, the gentle of the metaphor and then reflected back their comments with more than a “that was awesome”, can be hard one and well-savoured.
