we’ve got wood

Have you?

We’re feeling rather excited because we just read this on the Woodford website:

The Woodford Folk Festival, an event of international standing, is held annually over six days and six nights from Dec 27th through to January 1st. More than 2000 performers and 580 events are programmed featuring local, national and international guests. This year the 7th festival of The Dreaming is being featured at the Woodford Folk Festival. The Dreaming, Australia’s International Indigenous Festival, will be showcased in a special precinct within the Woodford festival where Indigenous music, theatre, talks and galleries will be featured.

Doesn’t that sounds pretty special?

We’ll be at the Woodford folk Festival 27th Dec 2011 - 1st Jan 2012 http://www.woodfordfolkfestival.comAnd A Mills & Boon Swoon is going to be  a part of it all, we’re performing in the Parlour, where the “bumpinest, grindinest burlesquers alongside the best of Romance, Comedy and good times”. Sounds right up our alley.

Now, what to wear?

We’re a part of Wordfood, together with Miles Merrill, & Maurice McNamara take spoken word to its boiling point before the lid comes of with a guest performance by Tripod.

We’re representing the hot ladies, giving poetry all it deserves. Check this clip from Betsy, if you want to know what we mean.
