Of waking not dreaming dreaming not waking sleeping not sleeping hoping not hoping feeling not feeling just feeling the feeling of waiting a pretty dress a lovely smile the stretch of a limb the slip of silk the warmth of a breath the radiator the radiator breathing hot breath the night the gig the bar the lights the diving the desolation the dreaming the delight the morning the morning the mourning the fight the rhythm the season the fretting the fighting with delight with drama without it within it before it outside it inside it amongst it inside it.

the great, kaleidoscopic moment of this
