you could be forgiven

For thinking that this is an easy endeavour.
That I could just park myself somewhere in the middle of a busy commuter road and find myself the cyling sartorial splendour that is a fine man/lady on a fine bike, wearing a fine helmet.

You’d be wrong though.

Commuter o’clock is ugly.

And nobody’s stopping for a short girl waving her arms, saying “excuse me – could I just take a photo of your helmet?”

Nobody.

  1. Here here to the ugly commuter o'clock. You should(n't) go to the Footscray Road cycle track at that hour. It's uglier than ugly.
