Of both helmets and the internet.

1. We have a submission from PNG. Yep, that’s right, Papua New Guinea. The world’s least known cycling destination (predominantly due to the lack of surfaced roads and safe cycling circumstances). And you thought you were tough. This man is genuinely hot because, having lived and worked in this sunshine spot of the world, I can guarantee you it’s at least eighty percent humidity and a sweet thirty three degrees. Satan himself complains about the heat in PNG. And, although it technically deviates from my interests, in being “hot” rather than “hot”, I’m picking up what he’s putting down.

Please forgive the low res picture, PNG is also not a place for sending large files. So I understand.

2. Tonight’s second exhibit is the lovely Brynne Gordon, at last night’s Brownlow Medal. I don’t want to get too far into it, but I believe, in my heart of hearts, that this outfit might actually have been improved had she been wearing a helmet. In fact, had she brought her own road bike, she could claimed that she got lost on the way to a shoot for Chicks and Bikes. In 1973.

At the very least, a solid Giro could have helped protect her from the catty comments that were no doubt being through her way by the sundry WAGS who Had Tried To Look Classy Thank You Very Much.
