sally

Sometimes the technology lets you down; I’m no photographer.
And who can capture – almost – the gentle beauty of a friend and make the text in focus.
Sally
I’ve said it before:
“Sally is a funny duck.”
Though, in the end,
No funnier than me –
Or he, or she, or them.
But when she
Gets it going,
That thing she’s going to do,
When she sees herself clear
In the mirror,
In the mind,
In the mirror of the mind, and
Views herself
Fierce and perfect –
That girl
Is going to be
Dangerous.
