You would have loved it! The atmosphere was fantastic and it was great to see so many people gathered to congratulate our newest sporting icon.
I welled up a few times and laughed and cheered and yelled, like a crazy person. It was exhilirating!
Sigh. I do miss the place. The pics looked very fun. And I totally cry during the Olympics Macdonald’s advertising, so I am pretty sure that a heap of yellow flags waving would have had me choking back a couple of manly sport sobs.
