Because we change

Maybe she didn’t want for you to see this; she substituted something more elegant and beautiful, as is her want, and I love her wants and her ways.

But this is what greeted me this morning at 6am and I – for one, found it so perfect.

I had this photo with me in PNG the first, frightened time I went away. I am shocked at how long ago that really was. I still have the t-shirt that I made of the image with your boot. I found you so utterly inspiring back then. I still do.

Your elegance is always composing itself. You are the MacGyver of beauty, and I am in an ugly emergency.
