TEAM!
I WAS FORCED TO GO RUNNING TODAY.
What can this possibly mean? This means BAD things. This means that I am not on the bike.
I need you to get on the bike with me. What are you doing on the 16 of April? My Wing People Are Going to Work. Or at least they are if the thing in question is on during the day time and it is busy.
I need critical mass of excellent ladies who are prepared to smash it on rollers. Because if I am alone in the smashing, or I am smashing in company of no one but teenage boys, well this is a strange place for me to be. This is not what I want. I want to believe that women are amazing, and that they ride, and they are willing to try anything once for a good cause, even if that cause is just being present because sometimes it is actually really powerful just to have women present in places where there were not women present. And I don’t mean in a spectator way, I mean present in a present and ACCOUNTED FOR kind of way.
Like tomorrow.
Are you PRESENT?

Go! Support Pony Bikes, the fabulous folk from BRISBANE OUTDOOR GEAR and all the other goodness – OH AND ZOOOOEEEOEOEOEOEOE!!!! And for WIRE, who are, quite honestly, one of the most amazing women’s organisations keeping on keeping on in Melbourne. Great cause. Ride on.
This what it was like last time (THANKYOUBLAKEY YOU ARE WONDERFUL! I WENT RUNNING AND I AM CRAZY FOR IT)

This was last time around (and wow, my bike was very clean that day) and crap that body paint was MEAN to ride in and I was SO SWEATY by the end of that fun time.

Everyone was quite wonderful that day. Alice WTF is. AND MIREEERVAAAA!!!!
Please – in super seriousness – if you are a woman and you are prepared to ride on a stationary track back in front of a crowd of fellows who are probably really nice, then I’d like to hear from you.
