Eleanor Jackson is a Filipino Australian poet,
performer, arts producer, cyclist, writer, gal
about town, feminist, freewheeler, and
friend. One day, she is going to be an
ideas curator. Which basically
means, she will tell you
exactly what she thinks.
Until then, you’ll have
to read between
the lines.
Write beautifully – Margaret River Reader and Writers Festival
It’s my first time here in Margaret River – and it’s an absolute honour to be a part of the Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival.
For those in the area, please do come down – right now Robin de Crespigny is sharing a deeply human and searingly moving perspective on her work The People Smuggler. Earlier we had a great session on women in journalism, and the morning had had some great engagement from warm audiences. Nick Carroll will be surfing and writing this afternoon and I’ll even squeeze in a slam tomorrow PM.
There is much to commend and recommend to you… but you can come and make your own mind up, it would be nice to see you.
