everyone loves love

Well, at least we do.

Betsy and I have been exercising our pantoums and our villanelles in preparation for Woodford. And I tell you what – love is grand.

No one wants to be a second choice, and really, isn’t that what love is all about? Being someone’s first choice. Can we be your first choice on the 30 December at Woodford.  That’s all we ask. It doesn’t have to be love forever, you can love us and leave us. It’s just a 15 minute roll the in the hay. But for the time that we have, the little moments, just love us, don’t love nobody else but us, and we won’t love anybody else by you, alright?

That’d be sweet.

I told you I liked you and you said you liked me, but what I meant is I wanted you to tell me stories to keep me up all night long.

I read your prologue all night and I wanted to read on.
