my nanna always said

Never be afraid to match.

It was one of her many fashion philosophies. One that I have most passionately supported throughout my life. I believe my Nanna would have most certainly approved of this young lady.

Fitted out rather demurely in a grey marle wool dress, with a simple black belt matching opaque hosiery, a light grey-marle pattern helmet in a very simple shape with grey plastic jelly bellies adding just a touch of humour, she is rolling out both fearless and classic.

Incidentally, however, this helmet is soon to go the way of the dodo as – by its owner’s admission – it was made some twenty plus years ago and is almost certainly no longer as safe as it once was. It should also probably be adjusted a little differently as, well, basically, if she comes off and face plants she could probably sustain a fair amount of front lobal damage, notwithstanding the presence of the terribly fetching grey lid. Though I promised myself I wouldn’t crap on about such boring things as cracked heads and acquired brain injury.

So let’s just say, nice matching.
